DivDat is a bill presentment and payment processing service for several local government agencies and utilities in the Detroit area. The City of Detroit and Wayne County both use DivDat to make it easy for their residents to pay their annual taxes, and for DTE Energy and Detroit Water and Sewer to present their bills.

The Challenge
A mobile app was conceived as an enhancement and extension of DivDat’s network of location-based kiosks. The app needed to make it easy for customers to interact with DivDat’s client organizations and to be able to take electronic payments through a variety of means.
The Solution
An easy-to-use mobile application that allows users to review their bills and arrange payments through a variety of methods. Whether scanning a check or credit card or arranging a payment via ACH the app makes it easy for users to manage their accounts and pay their bills in a convenient, and thus timely, manner.
The Results
The app has streamlined payment for hundreds of local residents and extended the convenience of DivDat’s kiosk network to the pockets of thousands of local customers.
